In 2024, we expanded our efforts  through programs like The Career Academy and The Career Closet, which offer tailored career development services, professional wardrobe support, and a comprehensive network of mentorship and resources. The Career Closet is a free, donation-based resource that offers a wide selection of professional attire for men and women of all sizes, including shoes, 
bags, and accessories.|

Donations are received from community partners, corporate sponsors, and individuals and  are thoughtfully curated to ensure participants have the right attire for job interviews, new job starts, special events, and high-stakes meetings. This initiative boosts participants’ confidence and provides them with the tools they need to make positive first impressions and embrace new opportunities.

The Career Academy, launching in 2025, will take our support to the next level by offering a structured, hands-on learning environment. Participants will receive personalized coaching and mentorship, focusing on key skills such as leadership, communication, time management, and strategic thinking. Industry professionals will lead workshops, offer insights, and provide networking opportunities, helping participants build valuable relationships and expand their professional networks. The program will equip them with the knowledge and tools to navigate their career paths effectively, develop as well-rounded leaders, and contribute meaningfully to their organizations’ success.

Through these combined efforts, we aim to not only prepare individuals for the workforce but empower them to thrive within it.
